JAMES CRONK - Managing Producer

James Cronk had his first experience with TUTS as a young performer in the 1984 production of Grease, where he won his first of two EV Young Outstanding Performance Awards. He followed that up with five more summers at Malkin Bowl, including two of them as the lovable nerd Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors.

After a decade as a performer on stage, tv and radio, James followed his other passion into the world of golf, where he has spent over twenty years involved in every aspect of the game.  The Globe and Mail ranked James as one of the top twenty most influential people in the business.

In 2006, with TUTS in financial difficulty, James was inspired to come back to TUTS as a Board Member, where he held the role of Board President from 2006 until 2009, when the current GM resigned.

Since that time James has been actively involved in the day to day operations of TUTS as Managing Producer.

His passion for TUTS stems from the wonderful and memorable mentoring experiences he had as a teenager, spending his summers at Malkin Bowl. He is committed to ensuring that this tradition continues for all of the aspiring perfomers and technicians who dream of a life doing what they love.
