Ticket Donations

Each year, Theatre Under The Stars donates a number of ticket vouchers to support community organizations throughout the Lower Mainland. We are tremendously grateful for the community support we receive each year and are happy to give back to the community in this way.

 

To request a donation, please complete our donation request form. In addition to the form, you will be asked to upload a letter describing the event and the goals of your organization. This letter should be no more than one page in length.

 

Please note that due to the limited supply and increasing demand for tickets each season, the following criteria will be considered for all donation requests:

 

  • There are a limited number of vouchers available and these will be issued for events between April 1st and July 31st.
  • The request must be received a minimum of 4 weeks in advance of the event or donation confirmation deadline, whichever comes first.
  • Each charity is eligible to receive one donation per year. As multiple events often benefit the same organization, please be advised that a donation to your charity may already have been awarded through another event.
  • Preference will be given to arts events and to charities that did not receive our support the previous year.
  • Special consideration may be given to organizations that recognize Theatre Under the Stars through signage and programme mention, allow cross-promotional opportunities or offer reciprocal donations.
  • Vouchers will be valid for any performance of this year's season. Vouchers must be exchanged for tickets by following the directions on the voucher.

 

Due to the overwhelming number of requests received, only those organizations that are granted donations will be contacted.

 

Donations will be available for pick up from the Theatre Under the Stars office during regular office hours. Exceptions may be made for organizations located outside the Lower Mainland.
