Canine Casting Call: TUTS is Looking for a Lucky Pooch!

Does your Chihuahua have star power? Your Papillon’s got it going on? Your Jack Russel is ready to hustle?

We’re looking to add another lucky pooch to Legally Blonde: The Musical!

The ideal canine will be a small breed who is comfortable & capable of the following:

• Be comfortable being handled by 3-4 actors within the production
• Run onstage, bark on command, jump into an actor’s arms
• Walk on leash, get picked up by an actor
• Be carried onstage by actor, jump into pet carrier bag set on bed
• Run to centre stage on cue for the end of the show and again for bows

The animal will be required at Stanley Park’s Malkin Bowl for each evening performance of Legally Blonde: The Musical (June 29 + 30 Preview : Alternating Evenings July 3 – August 16). 

An animal handler is a part of the Production Team, so the owner is not required to remain on site each evening.

The owner will be compensated for their time and support of Theatre Under the Stars.
